    I can't reproduce this.

I went to a form with a grid (All sales orders). I selected a sales order. I clicked Refresh. The focus stayed on the same record.

Or maybe you talk about refreshing it in the code? In that case, when you call the yourFormDataSource_ds.research(true) method, remember to give that "true" parameter so that it will retain position. Or maybe it's something else. We haven't seen your code. Would you mind sharing it? Usually it's a good starting point for troubleshooting.

You have customized code on the form

Look if you are  calling research method in your code , that might be a cause for this.

Do we have a solution for this issue

    Hi All,

I found the solution to the above problem.

    1. first check for any use of reread(), refresh() or research() method.

if step 1 is not creating the problem then you can look for Executequery() method.

if all the things are standard and still you are facing the issue then refer to the below sample( was used for sales order Form)
