Account Schedules -- Merging of Cells

Hi:

An end user says that, when she exports Account Schedules to Excel, some of the cells in Excel "merge".

What is the resolution for this?

Thanks!

    Hi, it sounds weird.

This looks like you have edited the standard Layout file? If so, change back to standard and test again.

For example, Account Schedule (25, Report Request)

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

    Hi:

Well, I just got off of the phone with the end user.  It sounds like she is simply saying that the default "way" that Account Schedules export to Excel is not to her liking.

For example, there are small columns to the left of each column that contains an amount.

This forces her to have to merge the columns (cells), in order to get rid of those small and empty columns that export by default.

My guess is that there is no way of changing the default without programming.  Is that right?

Hi, I'm not sure what details the user is not satisfied with, but if it's just a layout change, you can use the following method, which doesn't require customization. But some knowledge of Report builder is required.

    Hope this helps.
