How to recreate PSTL database objects

Posted on by 536

Hi all

I have an issue with creating database objects for PSTL. I have GP set up in a test environment. I created a new company using GP utilities. When I open PSTL it continuously gets stuck on creating a stored procedure. first it was the smChangeAccountIndex2.

I have tried removing PSTL and adding the chunk file again.

I have tried dropping recreating objects through the SQL Maintenance window inside GP.

I have made sure the datasource is correct.

I have delete the TA00850 and TA00860 tables to try again.

Nothing has worked thus far.

I then manually added that proc from my local installation but now it gets stuck on the next missing proc.

Any ideas?

Riaan

    Hi all

    Thanks

Riaan, is this related to the installation of GP that failed to have the SA accessing the database in the TEST environment?

If so, I strongly believe you have a deeper issue with this installation and that the underlying company database needs to be re-created.

Share a print screen for the error and any details when clicking on the rebuild stored procedure

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Yes I tried the normal uninstall like you suggested before I tried the chunk file route. No success.

The rebuild procs also gave me the same error unfortunately.

For Dynamics GP 2013, there is no need for a chunk file, it can be simply added from the control panel (Add remove features)

Can you reach the PSTL window, there is a rebuild stored procedure button at the bottom as shown below, have you tried that ?

    Your feedback is highly appreciated,
