Hi everyone,
I'm facing an issue while trying to integrate my Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment with Power Platform.
I have a DevBox (Developer VM) that I created from Lifecycle Services (LCS). The environment is up and running, and I'm using it for X++ development without any issues.
Now I need to connect this environment with Power Platform so that I can build a Power Apps application on top of it.
However, I can't find any Power Platform Integration option in LCS for this environment, and I'm also unable to link it from the Power Platform Admin Center.
Could anyone help me understand:
Any guidance or documentation would be greatly appreciated.

You can't do it for an existing environment and even for new environments, it's not a supported scenario anymore. Let me quote the documentation:
Power Platform integration for cloud-hosted development environments is a deprecated feature and is no longer supported. While the option may still appear during environment deployment, it's not recommended for use. For testing and development scenarios, we recommend using a Sandbox environment and/or a Unified Developer Environment (UDE), which are fully supported and better suited for integration with Power Platform.

Is it possible to link an LCS Developer VM (OneBox) with Power Platform? - Not anymore, see Martin's documentation link
If yes, what are the steps to enable it? - n/a
If not, what is the recommended approach to use Power Apps with a development environment? - use a UDE, is is deployed to Power Platform and therefore comes with Power Platform and F&O, see here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/unified-experience/tutorial-deploy-new-environment-with-erp-template?tabs=new

Short answer is: Its not possible, LCS CHE can not be connected with PPAC like this.

We cannot use Cloud Hosted Environments deployed through LCS. You need to deploy it through Power Platform Admin center using a service account which has valid licenses.

Note that the question is about integration with Power Platform (for development of Power Apps), not the management of environments through Power Platform admin center.
