    Hi Abhisek,

I understand from your question that you want to keep the number although it is not reachable or bad.

    Here's what you can do:

Step 1: Create a custom field (Two Options field {Yes/No}) on your form where this phone number is; custom field named 'bad number' place it next to the phone number

Step 2: Create a realtime workflow with following steps:

Trigger on change of field 'Bad Number'

    Check condition 'if bad number=Yes'

Create a note- with title 'Phone/Mobile is a Bad Number'

Update entity- set 'Bad Number as No' and clear phone number field to blank

    Activate

This will keep your bad number in the system while users will be aware of that looking in the notes.

Let me know, if you need any assistance to understand this more.

Either remove it as a number that is no good, why keep something bad!

Or flag in the contact preferences as do not call.

Depends on what you mean by bad  number. If you mean a telephone number that doesn't connect or is the wrong number for that account, contact or lead .... wouldn't you just remove it? If, for example, you can't find a good number to speak to the lead maybe you should disqualify the lead.

    Hi,

There is no functionality in CRM for this, but you can either add note about that number in customer's record or you can create one field in entity, either boolean / text field, and add this field next to phone number, if that field is boolean (e.g. not reachable number - Yes/ No) or Text field next to phone number which will have some text about number.

Is there any reason to keep the number?  I'd simply just delete it, especially if you have Auditing turned on and can go look it up if need be.

Alternately, you could add a "bad number" bit field for every phone number you track on a record, and then use Business rules to hid the phone number field when "Bad Number" is checked.
