Incoming mail from Queue slowly create an email in Dynamics

Posted on by 47

Hello,

I've configured a queue with an incoming mail for create a new mail in dynamics each time one mail send to queue mailbox.

In the queue mailbox the mail message arrive each minute.

But in Dynamics a new mail is created also after 12 minutes one to another.

Is possible to configure dynamics for scan the mail in mailbox more frequently?

Thanks in advance

    Hi GianlucaN,

As I mentioned before, the frequency of email synchronization is automatically adjusted based on the available processing workload.

So it is not possible to determine which of these two environments can be faster based on the type of environment.

    Thanks for the answer,

I've this situation in a sandbox environment.

Is possible that in a production environment, the import become more faster?

    Thanks

    Hi GianlucaN,

Unfortunately, it is impossible to change frequently.

Server-side synchronization runs on a schedule for each mailbox and has different synchronization delays based on the workload processed.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/server-side-synchronization#server-side-synchronization-frequency

    As The following documentation said:

Normally, email synchronization occurs every 5 minutes. When a mailbox has many email messages, the interval can be reduced dynamically to 2 minutes. If the mailbox is less active, the interval can be increased up to 12 minutes. Generally speaking, you can assume that a mailbox will be synced at least once every 12 minutes.
