We are using GP 2010 R2 and I am Power User in GP.
I am trying to publish a report in using Excel Report Builder. However, a message pops up that 'You do not have security privileges to publish this report.' However, i can save/ edit report using Excel Report Builder Tool.
Best Regards.

Hi Irfan,
Even though there was a change from GP 10.0 to GP 2010 that the SA isn't the only login that can publish reports in Excel Report Builder, along with being a PowerUser role in Dynamics GP 2010, the user account also needs to have either the sysadmin or dbowner roles assigned in SQL Server Management Studio.
The reason for this is still that when an Excel Report is published, it creates a SQL View and the user account needs permissions to be able to create the View in SQL.
In SQL Server Management Studio, under Security > Logins, if you look in the Properties for the non-SA PowerUsers, do they have either the DBOwner or SysAdmin SQL roles assigned to them? If not, try giving the user the DBOwner role and then have them log out and back into Dynamics GP 2010 to see if they can then publish Excel Reports.
Regards,
Vinutha
