How do I create separate shortcuts to Integration Manager?

Posted on by

I have a deployment using two companies with separate integration manager databases. Is there a way that I can create a separate shortcuts to access individual imdbs?

Reason - they will be using rdp to connect to GP and IM. I already have separate GP Shortcuts. Cant figure out how to do the same for IM.

    Hello Ali,

I think that may be the only way to pull this off.

For GP you can use different "installs" by simply pointing to different Dynamics.set files, but I haven't tested trying the same with the IM.exe and MDB file.

Glad you figured something out for your environment.

Okay so I got it to work accidentally.

For my two databases, One is an actual IMDB file and the other is an MDB file.

I set IM to access the MDB file and made a shortcut to the desktop for this.

I made a shortcut to the IMDB file for the other company which was in the program files.

    This worked for me.

    Whew!
