In the Service Calendar, when the selected "Type" is "Resource", the only available filter is "All Resources".
I assumed that Service Groups would appear there, but they are not.
Is there any way to add additional filters to this dropdown?

I thought the PSA and Resource Scheduling solution was only available for CRM Online (we are using On-Premise).
I will definitely take a look at our possibilities with Resource Scheduling and see how much it would cost to add this solution.

Unfortunately it is not supported to extend or customize the Service Calendar.

Microsoft recommends that you transition any existing processes you have that depend on the 'old Service components' ('Service Calendar' and 'Service Activities' entity) to the new Unified Resource Scheduling solution.
The Unified Resource Scheduling includes a new screen called the Schedule Board, which can be customized in more ways than the old Service Calendar.
The Unified Resource Scheduling comes with Project Service Automation and Field Services but, can be used for any other scheduling as well.
