Hello!

I have a question if someone of you knows if this is possible.

I am trying to find a place from where I can add an additional field in the User options in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Account>Email provider selection:
A little backstory - we have an accountant that works on 2 of our legal entities and is sending invoices. But the sender email for the two of the tenants is different.
Is there an option in the system where it allows you to add an additional sender email, while still keeping the first one?

Thank you!

Personalization would be no solution anyway. Even if you added a field, it would never be used when sending emails. That requires changes to business logic.

Also, the business requirements will be address in a much better way if we use a company-specific table. Then it's clear which company is each email address related to and there may be any number of companies.

    Hi,
It seems that this page is different from other pages (such as All purchase order), where you can use personalization to add the fields you need, but this option does not seem to be available on the User options page. So maybe you can implement your needs through code customization.

    Best regards,
    Kevin

I don't think that there is any such a standard feature, but you can achieve it with a customization.

You can use or create a company-specific table where you'll store the "from" e-mail address for a user. Then you'll create an extension of SysUserInfo.getSendAsEmail() and there you'll either use the value from your table, if set, or you'll just use the standard value.
