    Hi,

    There are two ways.

    1) Restrict Users changing the Production BOM or Qty. while posting consumption.

    2) Generate report, which would give you the report as needed. There is no standard report available for this.

    RE: Cost deviation report

    Thanks for responding...

I would like to mention my objective that I need to analyse actual cost and production BOM cost for each production order, As right now I am not able to find out that cost deviation between them and also not getting info. about correct consumption.

Correct Consumption: Every qty. of each item need to be consumed as per production BOM

Our ideal Process: Prod. BOM reflected in JOB card then same on Mat. requisition slip and consumption occur based on qty. of mat. req. slip............

Our actual Process: As we have access to change the production order components(that will reflect in JOB card) so we add/remove some qty. and item(due to unavailability in inventory) in production order components and then Production BOM and Job card qty. differ and consumption will occur according to job card....

NOW my objective is to get cost...... if consumption would occurred strictly according to production BOM

Reason behind not setting standard cost for each Production BOM:

I have 6000+ items in my item list and 200+ production BOM so its very difficult for me to update my each item cost every month

And then i prefer that my all the items get their unit cost from GRN value.

Please do ask if you didn't got my problem

    Thank You
