Hi All,

is there a way to extract all our customized elements to excel from VS as we used to do in AX 2012 ?

Thank you,

Can you please tell us more about your scenario?

What exactly do you mean by "an element"? An AOT element? Or, say, modified controls in a form extension?

Are you looking for extensions, or extended objects? Do I understand correctly that you aren't interested in new elements that aren't extensions?

What kind of information do you want to extract?

    Thank you Martin,

actually the customer is asking us to document all the customization being done on AOT elements, extensions, new items. as a document only.

    Thank you,

If I would need to produce such list, I would try PowerShell, listing all items in my package/model directory and it's subdirectories.

And I would search the web for "PowerShell list files directory subdirectory" to figure out how to exactly do it.

The path of each file also tells you what is the type of the item (such as Display Menu Item) so the output contains all the information that your customer needs.

I don't have any scripts for you. But please read my previous comment again, it contains exact instructions for you so that you can find how to do it. Once you're done with the script, please share it here so that others can benefit from it. Thanks!

To export from Powershell to Excel, you can either use CSV (Export-CSV), or you can utilize ImportExcel module.
