Exchange with a Credit - Credit Card Refund

A customer purchase a part but recieved the wrong part.  They want to keep the part, but would like a refund of the difference in price.

I think I would have to return the original part and then invoice for the new part so that the inventory will be in line, but how do you give a refund to a credit card for the difference?
