Has anyone found a solution to running SSRS 2008 reports on SL 7 FP1? Whenever we try and run a 2008 report ROISRS crashes. There is an MS KB article that says to use SSRS 2005 as a resolution to this problem, which works, but is an inelegant solution. I've also spoken to others who say they use it with no problems. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the update and that makes sense though not good news. Alternatively, I wonder if there have been any Hotfixes released after you learned this from Microsoft or if you could copy the SL 2011 ROISRS executable and try running it with that as a test? Seems kinda silly to have to replace the whole installation for one executable unless it calls new tables or functions in the new version.... Just my thoughts but was curious if you had resolved it. Thanks.
Yes it is. I've since learned that ROISRS can't support reports developed in SSRS 2008. You have 3 options, run the reports through SharePoint, develop them in SSRS 2005, or upgrade to SL 2011 where this is fixed.
