Can some one please advice.
If a user has CRM for Outlook, when they send emails from Outlook it will automatically record them as an email in CRM right??? What if those emails are confidential? Would it be better for that person not to install CRM for Outlook?

It looks like you need privacy settings for your email tracking. In this case, you might consider using EmailScoop, which is an email tracking solution for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (https://www.scnsoft.com/services/crm/microsoft-dynamics/add-ons/emailscoop-tracker). We at ScienceSoft had a customer with a similar problem, who needed some customizations so as to exclude certain users from tracking due to internal policies and confidentiality. Although we initially developed EmailScoop as an internal tool to automatically track both incoming and outgoing email, it allows for such privacy setting. Perhaps it’ll help you, too.

You need to be careful, when setting up personal options on what emails need to be tracked. I would never recommend to select 'Track all email messages', you must select from the other three options.
