"close activity" function on Timeline

Hi there

We are experiencing the issue that the "Close Activity" function on Timeline shows up, unrelated to the actual status of an Activity. We've tested this thoroughly and even when an Activity is closed, the button still exists.

Classic UI activity feed similar function "complete" actually disappears when an Activity is closed/completed. So this would be the expectation for UI functionality too.

Anybody else experiences this issue? Is a fix in the pipeline?

Resurfacing this thread, as the "Close Activity" button is displayed only when relevant on the Timeline.

Example with a completed task (no "complete" button):

Continuous improvements are made to to the Timeline experience, stay tuned with each Release Wave to see what's coming.
