Delaying email notifications from workflows (stop from sending at 12am)

Hello,

We changed my mailbox settings from Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook since I was the "from" on the email notifications and they would only send when my computer was on. My inbox is now set to Server-Side Synchronization or Email Router.

However, now the emails are sending at midnight. 

What is the best way to delay the emails (based on reaching the Opportunity due date) to send between 8am and 9pm?

    Yes.

    You would need to cancel your existing workflows, and manually start your updated workflow on those records.

    Hi Joe,

    Any recommendation on applying the changes to workflows that had already started and are currently "waiting"?
    I tried the Pause and Restart and that didn't updated.

    Would cancelling them and manually running it as a on demand workflow be the best bet?

    If there is no time specified in a date, CRM assumes 12AM. So you could add a few hours to get your desired result.

    I looked at that, I was just unsure if it was 8-9 hours after the 12am start time, or it if was 8-9 hours after the due date, as in the next day.

    In your workflow, you have a step that waits until the Opportunity due date, then sends an email?

    You could modify that step to wait until 8-9 hours after the Opportunity due date to send your email. You would modify the same wait step in your workflow that you have right now.
