have you an example plz ?
thanks
You must convert a display method to the view by adding the tables that are used in the display method to the view datasource. Also your view must contains fields that are already used in the form, so that you can join the view with the tables that are already used in the form.
Later you can add that view to form datasource and add the relation between table and view via code.
Thanks,
Girish S.
Yes, you can convert that to view and you can filter.
Thanks,
Girish S.
how can i convert it to a view and do the filter ?
You cannot add a filter or range for display method field - You must convert this into a table level field to have a filter.
Thanks,
Girish S.
As far as I know you cannot filter on a field with display methods in a form.
i have a FormStringControl supplied by display methods how can i do a filter in this FormStringControl ?
