deliver remainder not active

Hello,

I'm using Ax 2012 R3 cumulative 11

when I create a new sales order with 20 qty and make packing slip for 3

the remaining qty is 17 I would like to cancel the remaining qty so I used deliver reminder from 
sales order line --> update line--> deliver remainder 

when I click on "deliver remainder" the form appears disabled like the pic below

why this happens and how to solve it, please

    I see this thread for a while, in case you still facing the issue for a particular SO please validate the below:

    • Does the line is stopped? or sales order header has a blocking event or perhaps Do not process = Yes. however, this should not affect this issue but just to exclude these assumptions from our considerations.
    • Please check the inventory transaction issue status.
    • Give it a try and run inventory consistency check only for this particular item on fix mode, please do this on test environment at first.

    If this issue impacted all sales order lines, I believe you should get in contact with your internal development team as it might be intended customization.

    The status is

    status --> open order

    Document status --> packing slip

    i create another SO in this enviroment and face the same issue  i will try in another enviroment

    Hello Junaid,

    There is no customization in this area. I check the SO order it's just 3 qty in paking slip and 17 qty in open order. I will try it in another enviroment

    What is the status of your sales order?

    Do you see the issue only with this sales order or in general also for other if you replicate the issue in a different demo/test environment?

    Do you have any customization on an order screen? Or Did you check if invoice is mistakenly posted for 20 Qty. ?  This doesn't seems normal behaviour.  Did you tried it on your testing environment?
