Template problem with Sort Tab

Hello, We have just upgraded from version 6.5 to version 7.0 FP1 of Dynamics SL and we have multiple templates setup for the Trial Balance and Detail GL reports and have noticed that in SL 7 the templates all came over fine (the settings/etc.) but the sort tab has different options set from when a report in SL 7 is selected with no template loaded. This has been causing issues with our reports because if we use a template to load a report it sometimes adds unnecessary spacing/extra pages etc. In a nutshell when a report is selected the normal way without a loaded template, the default sort tab selections do not match between the versions of SL, therefore when our templates were saved from version 6.5 they came over with different sort tab selections than what is the defaults for SL 7. We even have custom reports that were not touched between versions (modified in crystal) and this issue still exists. Why is this the case? It's almost like we will need to go through all our templates and modify the sort tab selections to reflect the defaults that exists when a report is selected without a template being loaded. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Mike

There are very slight differences in the sort option between 6.5 and 7.0.
One of those differences I see is that the vr_01620.accthist_cpnyid Group Field sort does not have the "Total Break" option checked in alot of cases.

Can you set the total break off, unchecked? Once this is turned off the report should pull single spaced.

If your templates are loading with the "Total Break", then you will simple have remove the checkbox on the "Total Break" and save over your template.
