"Configuration error" in Dynamics NAV 2017 Web Client

Posted on by 10

Hi

I have an installation of NAV2017 where one web client is working well on address: https://192.168.1.10/instance_name

I created a second Webclient and it does not respond well. I have two similar instances (different name and ports) and created a new WebClient - MOBILE, with settings like MOB_TEST. Sadly get an error like this:

MOB_TEST works correctly

MOBILE is not working.

    Hello,

I would first recommend trying to add the specific port to the URL for the new Web Server Instance.

    Example: MyWebServer:8080/.../WebClient

This can be required when you have multiple web apps under the same site in IIS. You can also find further instructions within the following for how to setup multiple web servers:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../how-to--set-up-multiple-web-server-instances-for-the-microsoft-dynamics-nav-web-client-2017

    Hope this helps,
