AOS SSIS Licensing

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I'm currently looking into rolling out an on-premises deployment of D365, looking through the system requirements under Software requirements for Application Object Server (AOS) I note that SQL Server Integation Services (SSIS) is required.

Can anyone confirm if SSIS would need to be separately licensed on every AOS?

I can see this getting quite expensive for customers with 16+ AOS's if this is the case.

I think best way to confirm this is contacting Microsoft support.
