SOLVED every user is being assigned every web role, regardless of contact's web role

We have a bug where users are being assigned every Web Role.

For an example, let's say available Web Roles are "Admin", "User", "Foo"

user with role "Foo" logs in...

expected result: user.roles == ["Foo"]

actual result: user.roles == ["Admin", "User", "Foo"]

This has been solved, but I'm not sure how how to mark this as solved.

Would you please describe more about how you retrieve the users’ web roles and specify the settings of each web role?

We discovered the problem. Each user web role was being designated as an "Authenticated Users Role," which I think means that any authenticated user will be granted this user role. We simply switched this value from "yes" to "no," and our issue was solved

Thank you for the solution. my company was having the same issue, but eventually solved it. Life is easier because of people like who are always prompt at helping others
