Automated Email Help

So I have set up a workflow based on when a certain group of people create a note that contains an attachment it then sends an email to a different group of people that are associated with the order the note was uploaded on. Everything in the workflow I created works correctly right now however I have had users ask if it would be possible to set it up so that it consolidates all the updates into one email and then sends that one email at a certain time of day. Is this possible?

    It is not possible to do with OOB workflow but you can use custom workflow to acheive this which requires crm development to be done by configuring the condition as per your needs.

    Sathis, thank you for the response this will be useful moving forward as it solves the timing part. Now the only other part is seeing if we can consolidate the notifications in to one email. Just a little more background on this so it makes a little more since, we have a team of 4 people that process orders for 21 Account Managers who are supported by a team of 6 Inside Sales Managers. Right now the workflow I created is sending an email to the Inside Sales Mangers every time our orders team uploads an attachment to an order so they are getting a ton of emails since there can be multiple attachments per order.

    So is it possible to consolidate all notifications per owner of the order to send in one email?

    I would suggest you to create a SSRS report and send it over on a scheduled time.

    You can acheive with CRM Timeout (or) wait condition in Workflow
