Generate new number sequence for existing environment

Hi,

Just want to ask for confirmation. When we already setup number sequence for our environment / company. Then in later days we add new module / feature, can use the same tool : Generate ?

For example I just turn on Subscription Billing, and I tried not to create manually. As following the steps : 

1. In the Setup step, I'm filtering only area of "Subscription" and select those records ->

2. After click Next, is the information showing the existing number sequence which already being setup ? with addition of the newly selected ?

I just afraid after click Finish, there are more than just Subscription Billing number sequence will be created, than will messed up the existing configuration.

    Hi Ken,

    In case of an application error, crashes or other unexpected failure, the system tries to recycle numbers automatically for continuous number sequences. You can run the cleanup process manually or automatically to recover the lost numbers.

    Hi,

    I think you missed out my question.

    I only ask, after select those 4 records, will it be the only number sequence added in ? Since the summarize information after click Next is confusing, in the Completed Tab, listed all other area with count of Number Sequence, what is that mean ? I basically only choose 4.

    Hi,

    You need to delete the ones that you do not need to update.

    Thanks. I wonder why we're able to select then, when we HAVE TO delete the rest also. But it's ok, I guess it is a question for Microsoft.
