Survey Reminder Field and JSON Parsing in Power Query

Within Common Data Services the data in the msfp_properties field within the msfp_surveyreminders table has data that cannot be parsed by Power Query.  It looks JSON like although fails on JSON parsing in Power Query and other JSON parsing tools.  Sample field content:

{'pendingDays':'1','inviteStartDate':'01/30/2021','inviteEndDate':'02/19/2021', 'locale': 'en-us'}
