We are using MS dynamics NAV 2013 r2. Daily sales order process approximately 10 thousand but it 7 to 8 hours for sales posting. So is there any way to increase the sales order posting speed in MS dynamics Navision.

Problem has been resolved. We upgrade the RAM 4 to16 GB then sales order posting speed gets 450 order per minute.
Even with a very low level configuration server it won't take more than 2 min to post 10000 lines. Is there any modifications been done to posting routine and what is the costing method been set?
If your costing method is set to average and adjustment is set to always then with the number of open inventory periods your posting get delay.

Please check how your cost adjustment for items works.
If the 'Automatic Cost Adjustment' is specified as "Always" in the Inventory Setup, every time when a posting happens, NAV adjusts the cost per posting, this takes time.
P.s. Though you specify 'Automatic Cost Adjustment' time period, you need to periodically run the Report 795 (Adjust Cost - Item Entries) to adjust the cost. The optimal way is to run a job queue entry specifying the time parameters.

Are you using batch posting ? how much time it takes if you manually post a single sales order?
If you have 10000 orders then it is roughly taking 2-3 seconds for each order which is very common.
