Hello, I am attempting to install GP eConnect, I've read through the installation instructions and believe I am following that. It appears to start the actual installation however stops immediatley with this error message:
Product: eConnect for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 - Update 'KB2722316' could not be installed. Error code 1603
I can find nothing on the KB listed above.

I already had turned off the UAC. Next I created a new admin domain account and that fixed the issue.

I have seen this before when using Integration Manager and installing eConnect.
It looks like you have some permissions issues. I would first advise logging into the machine as the Administrator and turn off User Account Control temporarily under Control Panel - User Accounts and reboot the computer to see if that helps Normally turning off UAC and rebooting resolves this error.
If turning UAC off and rebooting doesn't help, for the eConnect user, try a different domain admin account.
