When accessing the Item Extensions in Field Service Cards, either from within Field Service or Item Maintenance>>Additional>>Item Extensions, only recently when the returnable checkbox is selected, a warning appears stating "no price list setup for this item, return price level, u of m". Without this designation being set, we cannot add an item to a Service Call Parts Line for a Return. We can create the "I" line, but no subsequent "R" line for the item's return is created. Price lists are setup and we are using a default Return price level in Service and Return setup. This happens to all items that I have tested, including new items and in multiple item classes. I have also tried creating new UofM Schedules and applying to items to no avail.
I cannot be for sure when the issue appeared, but it seems to follow a general timeline from applying the latest patch to our GP10 Version. That said, the problem also appears on our newly installed 2013 version and in the Fabrikam company in 2013.
Any ideas?

Josh,
Sorry, but in my case we found that the user had changed the Price Level in the service call header from SERVICE to some other price level for which the part did not have a price list entry. The price list can be overridden from the header by opening the service call extension window (clicking the blue arrow to the right of the service call number).
George,
Did you find anything on Partner Source?
Experiencing same issue. Database recently upgraded from GP 10. Default Return Price Level is checked and value set in Field Service > Setup > Return Setup > Use Return Price Level field. Item has a price for the Return Price Level and base unit measure. Possibly related: getting "The price level/U of M combination is not included in the price list for this item" error when attempting to sell same item on a service call entry. This does not reference the returns price list. Going to check PartnerSource KB.
Thanks Giri. Yes, the default Return Price level is the same price level assigned in Item Price List Maintenance. I changed the default Return Price level for a couple of items, so that they didnt match, and back again, no difference, Message continues to appear. I have tried creating new Price Groups, Levels and new items with different class assignments, no change. Still cant check an item to be returnable in Item Extensions.
Hi Josh,
I have seen this error popping up only when the default return price level in the Return Setup is not assigned to the item price list.. Are you seeing this error even if the return price level is assigned in the item price list.
Regards,
Giri
