Employee Master - Integration Manager

Posted on by 5

Although my update integration runs without issues, new or modified information regarding existing employee deductions, benefits, and paycodes do not update. Can these items be updated on an existing employee?

It's a new integration attempt. We are changing benefit admin providers, and the systems don't fluidly communicate back and forth.  We have so many employees, and when we have benefit changes (especially at open enrollment), we don't want to be hand keying it all in.  This previous post shed some light on maybe what is happening.  community.dynamics.com/.../118148

Have you tried to add an employee using GP first? Go through the exact same steps and you should see the same message. Has this integration ever worked? I am wondering if some warning box will appear if you do it manually that may illuminate the true issue. I doubt it is IM but something is not setup properly in GP.

    Bob,

    1. Open the Employee integration in IM.

    2. Right click the Employees and select properties.

    3. In the Employees-Properties window change the Destination Edit Mode to Update Only.

    4. Then save and run the integration again.

    Hope this helps!!!

Shank, maybe you can help me. I'm trying to add pay codes to existing employees and I get an error that the employee already exists. What do I need to do so it just adds the pay codes and doesn't try to add the employee? I have just the EMPLOYID, PAYRCORD and PAYRTAMT in the Excel spreadsheet I am trying to import with Integration Manager.

Hello All: I have applied the Integration Manager SP2. it resolves the issues. Fox run error has removed now and it is working perfectly.

    Good Luck.

I, too, am receiving errors when I try to update information about my employees. Specifically "A FoxRun error has occurred in Dynamics.IWindow.GetWindowField(). Could not find the '(L)[Not Found]' field on the 'UPR_Employee_MNT' window."

Has anyone had luck updating existing employee pay rates?

I have applied (SP2) to GP2013 but I still have the same error message.

    Never seen this one before

Have you applied Service pack 2?  This resolved some of my issues with the Payroll Employee Master.
