Hi,
I work at university, we have purchased D365 Guides for Hololens 2 but I'm unable to access the license on our instance.
It mentiond D365 admin need to grant me access but our IT team shows i have been given access.
Is there anything we need to do to use the license? We have no idea how to fix this issue.

Please ensure that your admin has assigned you a Basic User & Gudes Author security role needed to login to the PC App - in some rare circumstances it can take up to 24 hours for the permissions to propagate.

Would it be possible to know how to add user roles of Dynamic 365 guides author in Azure tenancy? When we go into User roles we are are unable to see Guides roles as a list of assignment.
I guess it needs to be managed by IT department?
You need to be a system admin (not a tenant admin) in the environment where you are trying to add the Guides roles.
The Guides roles will only be availabe for assignmnet after the solution is installed in that environment.
