Hi All,
While trying to merge 2 records I get different columns for different records. I can understand this may be due to different data.
But is there a way to select these columns? or any view that affects this?
We are on Dynamics 365 latest version.

When you say different columns in different records, while you merge Record1 & Record2 you are seeing Field1, Field2 whereas for Record3 & Record4 you are seeing Field2, Field3. In that case both Record1 & Record2 might have Field3 as null that’s why you are not seeing Field3 there. Same is true for Field1 between Record3 & Record4.
More reasons in below thread:
The Merge dialog will only show fields that have a value in one or other record. The logic is that, if neither record has a value in a given field, there's no point giving any option to keep the value as it will be null in any case. There's no way to modify this behaviour
