Date format in unified interface

Posted on by

Hi,

we are using a D365 app built in the new unified interface.

The problem is with the date fields in browsers as IE and Firefox that doesn't show calendar controls (as Chorme and Edge do). Users have to type the date directly but they have to do it in this format mm/dd/yyyy while user format in CRM is dd/mm/yyyy.

Is there any way to force the unified interface app to take into account the format the user has in CRM?

    Hi all

We have the same issue also in addition, if you try to manually type something like 09:00 it will automatically be converted to 21:00.

This is also happening within the D365 for marketing module You cannot start an event in the early morning.

Tried diffrent browsers Chrome firefox Edge etc.

The date time control in Unified Interface relies on browser support. It has known issues in browsers such as Internet Explorer 11 and Firefox. It also has localization and format issues. See: docs.microsoft.com/.../readme-9

Have exact same issue. Please raise a bug with Microsoft and use chrome in the interim.

    Thanks,

No days of the week either.

Pretty poor for what is potentially a great experience from other aspects.

    Hi Jorge,

I would recommend to use internet explorer or chrome instead  of Firefox  and raise a ticket to Microsoft  before doing any changes.

    Hello,

It looks like a bug for me. I would suggest to open a ticket with Microsoft.
