You can't change a posting account to a fixed or variable allocation account.
Providing there is no history on the posting account, you can delete it and then create the allocation account. If there is history then you're a bit stuck as you won't be able to delete the posting account; you'd need to inactivate the account and create the allocation account using a different code.
