How does Account and contact get created auto after qualifying leads

Hello Everyone,

i have one doubt ..

i have read or as per my knowledge ...once qualifying leads ,same time account and contact and Opportunities also get created. this is what i have been read.

but .....i have seen for latest trail version of ms crm 365 that once qualifying leads only contact and Opportunities get created, Not account..

So is there any business process flow or Action are activated for this to be happen  OR this is internal process of ms crm

and if this is not any internal process then ..

how can steps like

scenario-1. if we qualify leads then only Account get created. not Contact and Opportunities

scenario-1. if we qualify leads then only Contact  get created. not Account and Opportunities

scenario-1. if we qualify leads then only Opportunities  get created. not Account and Contact ..

scenario-1. if we qualify leads then only Opportunities and contact  get created. not Account.

is this possible ?

    Hi Amit,

    As I can see as per your requirement you have to restrict to create records of account, contact and opportunity.

    You can achieve this functionality using plugin. You need to trigger plugin on "QualifyLead" message name then inside context you will be able to see "Business entities" in output parameter.

    So Output parameter is the place where you can restrict to create or create particular record.

    Hi Amit,

    That is CRM Functionality, when you Qualify a Lead and which is not associated with Account and Contact then it will create Opportunity, Account & Contact.

    If you want to associate it with existing account or contact then it will not create again, so make the fields as mandatory before your qualify it.

    Note, In general Qualifying a Lead without associating a customer/company/account and the contact person doesn't give any value add.

    But you can still restrict with a pre-validate plugin on "Qualify Lead" message.
