RE: Is there a way to use OneDrive in Nav2009 R2?

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

hello everyone!

I have a question , could we use OneDrive for Business in Navision 2009 R2 for upload some file in cloud , that we could share files to team-menber ,and manage file in Navision program. I want to add a upload button & download button in a form program, then link to a fix path direct to OneDrive cloud , but I don't know whether or not  work and I still have not idea for files version control and share premission setting , any suggestions is welcome! i think maybe Nav2009R2 just only share file like local file server, I have not idea for those two part (NAV2009R2&OneDrive) collaborative together . I read a blog that only Nav2016 and above could integrated with OneDrive , is that true ?

This is just a suggestion. You can use 'Links' functionality from NAV 2009.

At first, install and configure Onedrive for Business in the PC and through Links from NAV, you can select the location path of OneDrive location. The permission settings are maintained in the Onedrive for that user already.
