User Permissions

Hello,

I am looking to lock certain team members from adjusting and editing fields like: Payment Terms, Credit Limits, Customer Name, Posting Groups, etc..

I went to the User Group I am looking to set these permissions for and unchecked "D365 Team Member" which has all the fields I am looking to lock. I figured this would solve the problem, but, unfortunately nothing changed. Any help solving this would be much appreciated!

Hello,

This does look like these fields are allowed to be adjusted via other permission sets that may have been assigned to these team members. I think you need to adjust the permission set and that is with the current release of Dynamics 365 Business Central not possible. The hope is / the promise of the product group is that this will come in Fall release. Unfortunately I am not entitled to make statements about what is coming in a next update of Dynamics 365 Business Central. There is however a high demand from the partner channel to allow the ability to adjust these Permission Sets like we currently have in OnPrem Dynamics NAV.
