Hi. I'm trying to clear billto_composite, shipto_composite fields values using plug-in. but they are holding previous value . is there any difference between address1_, adress2_ and billto_,shipto_ composite fields, because my pug-in is working for address1 & address2 composite fields.

Hi, composite fields work internally as a plugin step on retrieve message. They are read only because they combine multiple fields on the same entity. If you want it to be empty you have to clear all the respective fields.
