Payables check changes

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

We are looking to make some relatively simple changes to the standard payable check layout (stub/check/stub), basically bold some fields to make them more legible, maybe change a font.

In order to have access to those settings, it appears that you need to turn off the Text Report format option in Report Writer.  But as soon as we do that, the fields seem to change position in the report and they don't even all print anymore (they appear to be cut off?).

Does anyone have experience changing this form?  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Did anyone help you with this?  You need to change your format to the Stub on top and bottom - Graphical  You can't change fonts on the text version of the check.

    Hi David,

If you started with a text report and then turn it into a graphical report, your layout goes through some drastic changes. You may be better off in this case to start with the graphically format check with stub on top and bottom. It is much easier to modify than the old standard.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
