Serenic add-on for payroll - terminated employees

I am using the Serenic add-on for payroll.  When I update the employee card for an employee that has been terminated, why does this employee keeps showing up in the payroll journal for the whole pay period (it does not pro-rate based on the termination date) and it keeps showing up in the payroll journals after the termination date?

Your help with this will be greatly apprecaited.
