Dynamics 365 behavior of chart and relative view.

Hello All Experts,

I have created a chart and a a view associated with that chart.

now i am modifying the view definition, what i see that the chart is associated with other default system view.

is it the expected behavior that it happens so.

    The chart can be used with any of the views.   You can go into the chart from any view and it will show the chart for that view.  If you are using dashboards, you define what view to use that chart with..
