It's possible to install updates with powershell?

Posted on by 397

Hi experts,

I have the plan to install a cumulative update on CRM deployment.  Deployment is not connected to the internet (so no updated with windows update). Also, server roles are installed on multiple servers.

Now I need to connect to server execute all downloaded files by hand and finish the wizard. Not very smart when you have a lot of servers and many language packs.

Is it possible to execute "silent" installation on multiple servers via powershell script? Or do you use some other approach to update your deployments?

I've found only how to install outlook update in silent mode.

Now I'll install 8.2.2 update on 8.2 deployment.

Thanks
