A/B testing not working

Trying to do a full content AB test but every time I delete a section, column or content block in the B test it deletes it from the A test too.

It only seems to allow me to edit the images and copy of the A version and not delete complete sections.

My A test is really long and my B test is a completely different design and really short. I need to be able to edit the full B test and not just the content of it.

    RE: A/B testing not working

Hi there - The a/b test in Oubtound marketing allows you to make the changes listed below:

Test type to one of the following: - Header (subject, email from): Lets you choose a different subject or different "From" name for the B version of your design. Recipients will see the "From" name as the name of the sender of the message. This won't change the actual "From" address, which will remain the same for both versions. - Body: Lets you select one or more design elements in the email body and then change those elements' settings, content, or appearance in the B version of the design. - Full content: Lets you select different subject, "From" name, and one or more design elements in the email body and then change those elements' settings, content, or appearance in the B version of the design.

To make changes on an image for example, you must select the image and then clicks on the icon for a/b test and replace that image (see screenshot). You can replace the image but you cannot delete the image. All the elements must be present in both versions. See documentation:docs.microsoft.com/.../email-a-b-testing

Alternatively, you can accomplish a test like the one you described by testing 2 different versions of the content in real time marketing. Version A would have the long email and Version B would have the short email. See documentation: docs.microsoft.com/.../real-time-marketing-experimentation
