Edit one field from two different entities

Posted on by 20

Hello,

I need help to find a way to edit one field from two differents entities.

My issue :

In my Account entity, I have a custom field named "Date of telephone reminder" which is updated by CRM's users. I want to show this field in the Opportunity entity and made it editable. I can show the field in Opportunity entity with a Quick View form but I still need to go to Account entity to edit it.

So when I update the field from Opportunity, I want the CRM to update it automatically in the Account entity, and when I update the field from Account, I want the CRM to update it automatically in the Opportunity entity.

Do you know a way to do that ?

Thanks for your help !

Thanks, it works but now, I get Infinite Workflow loop when I edit one of the fields.

    Any idea?

I did, but It's not a problem because the date always have to be the same for all opportunities linked to the account. I just need a way to update it like I said above

Please try to create a Workflow or Plugin to do this. Trigger the workflow/plugin on update of the field (account/opportunity) and update field on Account/opportunity.

    thanks
