I too am looking for info on this subject as we just implemented RMS about 2.5 yrs ago. I was just talking with a friend who is over IT for a chain of banks and found out about this. I'd much rather find an addon from a MS partner instead of having to completely change POS software and headquarters software.
Has anyone implemented a solution to accept EVM credit cards with RMS 2.0 ?

Understand that the enhancements to RMS are slowing down as its coming to the end of its new sales lifetime, to be replaced with what MS currently calling "RMS NextGen". It will be a subset of their current AX for Retail program.
That said, there are still 3rd party vendors that will continue to enhance the product. I know that Mercury Payments is working on something, I would assume that other processors are doing the same.

Thank you for your questions. RMS 2.0 is not EMV compliant and there are no known active plans to make it EMV compliant.
