Issue:

When using Mobile Device and Cycle Count (type = User directed) the customer gets an error message saying the following:

Can not edit a record in Cycle Count Work (WHSWorkLineCycleCount). The record has never been selected.

Se below.

Customer´s version: AX 2012 R3

Is the setup wrong or is there a hotfix that solves the issue?

Regards,

Marina

    Path: Warehouse Management/Setup/Mobile Device/Disposition code

    The parameters were missing.

I entered the parameters and now the Cycle counting works fine.

    Hi,

Sometimes when i'm doing a cycle counting trough the DP, and  I type the quantity, it says at first that it is not the quantity on-hand, and I re-type the same amount, so that the system make the adjustment. but instead of that, i'm getting the error "Can not edit a record in Cycle Count Work (WHSWorkLineCycleCount). The record has never been selected".

The problem just appear when the product has reserved quantity.

    this is one example:

The version I'm working on is AX 2012 R3 Cu8.

    I appreciate your help.

Yes- you need to have the inventory ID and description exactly the same. I had the inventory ID as 'ATS' and description 'Available to Sale'.
