get error terminal 1 is already running when launch app... first terminal has Database on system and has been running for 4 yrs, the second computer is connected and has access to database as tested with admin & report in manager

You will find that this group generally provides much faster and better solutions than MS support. For the record, Matt had given you that solution within 3 hours.

what was finally disclosed is the second computer needed to be set to another number (other than the default 1) using SO admin, under configuration and terminal.very simple fix that took the tech support group 4 days to tell me.
Buy your second license, and then change the register number to 2 in SO Manager - File - Configuration - Register.
