Is there any DIXF entity for loading Recurring Journals or Periodic Journals in AX 2012 R2?
If not, any suggestions on ways to do it? Thanks.

We dont have excel addin and we are used to DIXF. So for us its easy this way.
We are not doing any double work. This is something we do only when we are moving data from ax 2009 to ax 2012 or another system to ax 2012.
If we have four recurring journals and each recurring journal had 400 lines. Then we just simply create those 4 journal headers. and use those journal numbers in template and load all 1600 lines using Opening balance DIXF entity. Its simple and easy as we are used to using DIXF.

Do you really want to do that?
To me this looks like double work because you upload the periodic journal lines first and then go into a GL journal to retrieve the lines from the periodic journal.
If you use the excel addin then you make a single upload only and can directly post the journal.
Maybe talk with your accounting colleagues what they prefer.

There is a standard DIXF entity which i mentioned in my above answer which can be used to load Periodic Journal Lines. We just need to created Journal headers and load all lines using Standard entity "Opening Balance". You can verify my above answer.

There is no DIXF entity for loading recurring / periodic journals.
I would not customize that but rather use the Excel addin to upload your transactions on a regular basis.
The Excel add in can be used without customization and does not require modifying existing entities.

We added the Journal Header manually and for loading lines we used "Opening Balance" standard DIXF Entity.(Table: DMFLedgerJournalEntity, Class: DMFLedgerBalanceEntityClass, TargetEntity: DMFLedgerJournalTransEntity).
If there is no entity available , you can create one
