Hello Community,
We missed adding freight charges to a sales order, and the sales order has already been invoiced. Is there any way to add the freight charges after invoicing?.
If so, how would this impact the financial postings and accounting entries in D365?
Could you please advise on the recommended approach and any potential financial implications.
Thanks in Advance.
As far as I know, once it is posted, there is no way to add freight for sales. You can reverse order and re create.

I agree with Billur, if you want everything on one invoice, you should reverse the wrong one and create a new order but this time with freight charges.
Hi @LB-03061218-0 ,
I agree with the others that once the sales invoice is posted, we cannot reopen it and add additional charges to the posted invoice.
The standard approach after the invoice has been posted is to create a Free Text Invoice for the additional charge. This would create a separate AR transaction for the customer rather than modifying the original posted invoice.
