Hi,
How can I track or report any price changes that sales taker might make when taking a sales order ? The product have set prices, but they can overwrite the price of the product at sales order line level.

It is possible to restrict changes on the field using security. If they should be allowed to change it, you can setup database logging, but for sales order lines, I do expect you will get a lot of records to review...

Have you tried using the sales order events setup. It can be found under Sales & marketing > Setup > Events > Order events.
This was created as an alternative to database logging for sales orders, as many companies require more detail over changes to a sales order.

Andre - the database log is not an option, as you said to many records would be generated and that would slow down the system

I have set up the order events, for sales order line overrides and sales order header overrides, but the order event is not tracking any manual changes made to prices on the sales order line. Am missing to set up anything ? IS there any config that needs to be in place for this to work or parameters ?
